    Simms top model. When the temperatures start to drop duck inside the Midstream Vest which features Lavalan® Wool insulation, providing warmth in damp conditions and natural anti-order propertiest. The MidStream is the perfect mid-layer puffy vest to extend your days and seasons on the water. Vest is warmer than previous SImms Fall run model.

    • Lavalan® Sport 60G wool lofted insulation
    • Abrasion-resistant nylon textiles used for both face and liner with C0 DWR finish for water-resistance
    • YKK conceal-zippered chest pocket and two concealed-zippered hand pockets
    • Interior mesh dump pocket for gear storage; this vest stows into the interior dump pocket
    • Adjustable hem

    FABRIC TECHNOLOGY:
    Main/Liner: 85% Nylon, 15% Spandex woven
    Insulation: 80% Virgin Wool, 20% Corn Based PLA 

    Lavalan wool is a European wool obtained from sheep grazing in the idyllic surroundings of the Austrian and Swiss Alps or raised on the vast pastures of Norway and Sweden. This wool is able to absorb and release moisture, and is also waterproof. As a result, Lavalan is highly breathable, dries quickly and retains warmth even when wet or sweaty. Since wool has thermoregulatory properties, it also has a cooling effect and prevents overheating. Another important aspect is odor neutralization. Since wool wicks away moisture, it will never harbor odor-causing bacteria.
